George Jones (September 12, 1931 – April 26, 2013)
My favorite George Jones tune, "Burn the Honky-Tonk Down".
Rest in Peace, Possum (not that I think I had any right to call him that...)
George Jones was huge. Generally considered the finest male vocal stylist in country music. The tune I posted is actually sort of a rarity and a little out of character for George. He did honky-tonk in his early years and later did polished Nashville productions.
